Vanessa Welstead is a Bay Area-based certified ARISE Interventionist (CAI) who specializes in supporting individuals and their families on their path to recovery from substance abuse. Vanessa began her work in long-term intervention work in 2021. Vanessa is dedicated to creating a professional, safe and supportive environment for her clients and their families to start on their recovery path. She tailors her approach to meet each client’s unique needs, ensuring they feel valued and understood, while adhering to a harm-reduction approach. Deeply passionate about her work and inspired by her family, Vanessa is committed to making a positive, lasting impact in the lives of those she supports. Vanessa is a graduate of City College of San Francisco’s Addiction & Recovery Counseling Certificate Program. She is the host of “Wherever You Go, There You Are”, a podcast that shares stories of recovery. She resides in Marin County, California and when not with her husband & three kids, can be found running trails.
